This summer Acqua di Parma released two new additions to their Signatures of the Sun collection; Oud & Spice and Lilly of the Valley. Each fragrance of the Signatures of the Sun Collection is essentially reinterpreted through the sun-filled citrus prism of Colonia, every scent in the collection turns one core, familiar ingredient into something experienced for the very first time.
Along with the iconic Oud, this is definitely one of my favourite fragrances from the Signatures of the Sun collection. Lilly of the Valley is an artistic combination of both floral and citrus notes; the lively and powerful scent of Lily of the Valley is enhanced by vibrant and luminous citrus notes. Creating a truly heady experience, floral notes are layered between citrus bergamot and grapefruit, with musk and cedarwood at the base.
The fragrance begins with the citrus tones of bergamot and grapefruit, together with the lively notes of blackcurrant. The heart of the fragrance are rich and flowery blooms through the Lily of the Valley note, created using three powerful flowers: jasmine, magnolia and geranium. Enveloping tones of musk and cedarwood embrace the fragrance at the end.
This is a majestic fragrance, in my opinion it would be perfect for a wedding perfume. If you like white florals, its most definitely one to try, I guarantee that you will love it.
Top notes: Bergamot, Grapefruit and Black Currant
