Mirror work is an ancient and classic technique and has been a signature style for Abhinav Mishra’s eponymous label. Another motif of his signature collections are his use of pastels and sorbet colours, hot pink, canary yellows, and lime; blouses embellished with decadent mirror work, with quirky tassels adding an extra punch of character. Blending mirror work with modern silhouettes and colours, Abhinav’s pieces are absolutely spellbinding, he has created a unique identity for his brand.

I always find it difficult to know exactly what to choose from Abhinav’s designs. Whilst I tend to gravitate towards his pastel designs, this time I went for something a little different from his latest ‘Baraat’ collection. I was a little concerned that the peplum might not be flattering, but once the outfit was delivered I was certain it was a good decision to have made! This is a very unique outfit to add to my collection, what I particularly like is that it can be styled both in a modern and a traditional way.
