Sania created her eponymous clothing label in 2010 and is now one of the most celebrated designers in Pakistan. She is known in particular for her textile based design and fine craftsmanship which hails from generations of artisans who have perfected their craft. Most fascinating to me, all of the prints are designed in house and the brand creates their own woven fabrics. This is why garments from Sania Maskatiya are of such a high quality.

I have so many pieces from Sania’s collection which I will be featuring. To begin with this dreamy organza ‘sari’. A timeless classic, this ethereal digitally printed organza ‘sari’ is adorned with soft floral motifs on a cream base, enhanced with ‘gota’ work around the border. The cotton net blouse features intricate hand embellishments around the neckline and the sleeves, for a romantic ensemble.

I absolutely love wearing organza ‘saris’ in the summer months, especially those with floral prints. This piece by Sania is definitely one of the favourites in my collection.
