A classic ensemble, what is more glamorous than a red ‘sari’? This bespoke outfit was made especially for me by Lahore based designer Mahnoor Munawar.
Starry Night is one of Mahnoor’s most loved designs. Pure, luxurious and timeless, this chiffon ‘sari’ was originally designed in black. This artisanal ‘sari’ is adorned with meticulous embroidery in tilla and sprinkled with sparkly sequins to be reminiscent of a starry sky. The blouse has motifs heavily embellished with crystals, stones, sequins and Swarovski diamantés.

I was very specific about the exact shade of red I wanted for this piece, Mahnoor sent me numerous swatches until we both agreed that this was the perfect shade I was looking for. The result is a traffic-stopping ensemble, I don’t usually go for red but in this particular combination of embroidery and material it is an incredible outfit.
