As we hit the summer season I was sent a wonderful package of NARS products in spectacular shades of gold. Whilst the summer season has long gone, I have loved using these warm hues from NARS make-up and think that they will be equally as appropriate for the autumn months. I share a few of my favourites below.
Quad Eyeshadow (Taj Mahal)
The NARS quad eyeshadows features colours that come in a variety of different finishes; matte, metallic, shimmering and sparkling finishes. Taj Mahal is one of the newer eyeshadow palettes in the NARS collection featuring eyeshadow colours yellow gold shimmer, shimmering light peach, burnished orange with golden shimmer and purple red matte. The colours are highly pigmented and a little really goes a long way.
I really enjoyed playing around with the colours in this palette, there is so many combinations which are possible, from a matte daytime look to something shimmery for a wedding. Its the perfect palette to try if you are looking for something special which you will be able to get plenty of use out of.

Precision Lip Liner (Holy Red)
This is a precise lip lining pencil in a highly pigmented matte shade. Holy Red is a vivid orange red, which I absolutely love wearing both by itself as a statement making lip colour, and mixed with a more neutral shade of lipstick for a more toned down look. The formula glides on smoothly and has quite good staying power.
Limited Edition Air Matte Blush (Torch)
A diffused, soft-touch matte blush with a strong pop of colour, this is a lightweight mousse that transforms into a powder after application. It has a soft matte finish, and sheer, buildable coverage.
Whilst the colour is not something I would typically go for, I really liked the final look. Torch is a coral red shade which works really well with the other shimmery golden shades I have recommended in this article. The other colours in the collection are really pretty, in particular I love Darling (a light pink) which is more of my usual style.

Oil Infused Lip Tint (Reef)
A new product for the summer, the Oil-Infused Lip Tint is a sheer colour which delivers hydration. Coming in sultry tints, I particularly like this shade Reef which is a sheer mauve shimmer, it also comes in Laguna which is a shimmering bronze with gold pearl (I think this would look incredible on darker skin tones).
The texture of this product is particularly interesting, it is similar to a gloss, delivering light coverage but it has more staying power than your typical lip gloss. The colour is quite natural and perfect for when you have a golden summer tan.
High Pigment Longwear Eyeliner (Sunset Boulevard, Santa Monica Blvd)
These eyeliners by NARS are incredible, I highly recommend trying them out. With strong pigmentation and a precision tip, these new High-Pigment Longwear Eyeliners deliver a wonderful, effortless swipe of colour. The blendable, gel-like formula glides on with comfortable ease, instantly depositing rich colour that sets in exactly where you want it and wears for up to 12 hours.

The colour I particularly loved to wear this summer was Sunset Boulevard, a striking metallic gold, which coupled with a slick of mascara was a perfect effortless look for the daytime. I also include Santa Monica Blvd, which is white (quite unusual for an eyeliner!) which works well for the bottom lash line of the eye.
The Multiple (Orgasm)
One of my classic favourites from NARS, the Multiple instantly enlivens any complexion. It is a multi-purpose stick for eyes, cheeks, lips and body. With a velvety texture and sheer, blendable colour it is perfect for creating a shimmery accent, highlight or warming the eyes, cheeks and lips.

This stick has a stunning creamy texture with a shimmery finish and strong pigmentation. I love many shades, for the autumn Orgasm is perfect, it is a sheer warm pink with a golden shimmer which looks absolutely beautiful on a range of different skintones.
