Huda Kattan is perhaps one of the most famous beauty bloggers there is. She started her business in 2013 when she couldn’t find false eyelashes to buy, in just a few years Huda Beauty sells more than 140 products from eyeshadow pallets to lip gloss, which bring in at least $250 million in annual sales. I have always been a fan of Huda’s but have never actually tried her products. Below I review a mix of some of bestsellers and new releases from both her skincare and make-up lines.

WISHFUL Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub
WISHFUL was the first product to launch from Huda’s skincare line. The Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub contains a pineapple enzyme for brightening the skin, papaya enzyme for natural exfoliation and cellular renewal, AHA’s and BHA’s for acne control and prevention.

It really does make my skin feel softer and refreshed after use. I can’t comment on whether it controls acne, however it definitely left my skin feeling brighter and well exfoliated.
LEGIT Lashes Double Ended Mascara
Featuring two full size mascaras in one dual-ended pack, these ultra-black formulas are said to volumize, lengthen, lift and curl lashes. Side A has short, volumizing fibres for an “extreme volumizing effect”. Side B has lengthening fibres for an “elongated effect” whilst the brush curls and lengthens lashes.

I am always a little weary of mascaras which make big claims as over the years I have tried so many that had disappointing results. Legit Lashes Mascara glides smoothly onto lashes for an even, buildable, application. The result was impressive, this is one of the best mascaras I have used. It instantly lifts, curls and adds volume to the lashes. However, it does require a little practise to use both of the brushes effectively, using a eyelash comb also helped me achieve a neat final look.
#BOMBBROWS Microshade Brow Pencil
This is an ultra-fine 0.9mm tip, retractable brow pencil that defines, shapes and fills your brows using tiny hair-like strokes. The aim is that it gives a microblade-worthy effect to create brows.

I was quite excited to try this product. It is a pigmented, super smooth brow pencil and is infused with a blend of vitamin E, castor oil and coconut oil. There is also a durable spoolie at one end, so that you can diffuse or build up colour as required. I have slightly different eyebrows and I am always looking for a great eyebrow pencil, the #BOMBBROWS Microshade Brow Pencil did not disappoint, it is a one of a kind product. The pencil tip is as thin as a needle and makes fine hair like strokes which gives a more realistic look than filling in the eyebrows. As with the mascara it takes practise to learn how to use the product most effectively, it took me a few tries before I got the desired effect.
Mercury Retrograde Eyeshadow Palette
18 shades with 4 innovative textures; 9 buttery mattes, 2 sheer multi-reflective shadows, 6 high shine creamy metallics and 1 glitter powder. This palette includes both bold and neutral shades, with many possibilities, it pushed me to try some different looks. At first look I did not think that these shades would work for my taste (some of the colours are quite bright), however there are lots of really pretty shades and I have really enjoyed trying new looks with them. I think this would make a perfect gift for someone who loves bold colours or trying new looks.

Lengthie Lash Hoodie #23
Known for her false eyelashes, this is Huda’s first signature lash. Hoodie #23 is extra dramatic, long and voluminous. I must admit I have never tried false lashes and I still need to learn how to apply these! I wanted to include this product in my article as I have read great reviews of this product and as it is one of the products Huda is most associated with. I will report back, in the meantime if you love lashes this one comes highly recommended.
