NARS recently launched the limited edition NARS Air Matte Lip. Its innovative formula glides seamlessly onto lips for an airy longwear matte colour. The colour is diffused, feels soft on application and creates a soft-focus finish with a creamy feel. Its texture and finish is different to anything I have tried before.
Initially I thought this product would be similar to the NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment, however it is actually very different. The Powermatte Lip Pigment has a high pigmentation and long lasting staying power. The Air Matte Lip has a much softer colour and texture with a more bouncy feel on the lip. Whilst its colour is buildable and long lasting it does require some touch-ups here and there. I love the Air Matte Lip, not just for the texture but because the colour is a little more like a stain, which is how I often prefer to wear bold colours.

The four colours I have tried are below. Predictably I love the pink-nude colour as it is something I wear every day however, the deep red is a beautiful colour which I am looking forward to wearing this spring! If you try out the Air Matte Lip let me know what colours are your favourite.
