Part of the reason for her success is that she has kept things simple, its straightforward to understand the key ingredients in each product, the colours come in flattering shades that will suit a wide variety of women and you can apply the products with your fingers - no brushes necessary! Trinny has created a line which is practical, the majority of her range comes in stackable pots which allows you to create your own bespoke stack.
BFF Cream, Skin Perfector SPF 30 (Medium)
One of Trinny London’s hero products, this is a wonderful base product with microencapsulated pigments to even out skin creating a flawless glow. The product contains colour-transforming pigments which help to create your own personalised shade on application. Enriched with extract of Porcelain Flower it instantly hydrates and wakes up tired looking skin and reduces redness. Trinny wanted to create an all-in one product and I appreciate its inclusion of SPF 30 too, adding to its convenience. I use this product as I would a moisturiser or BB cream for an instant fix. The pigments take a while to be absorbed into the skin but the result is skin with a natural glow.
BFF Serum De-Stress, Tinted Serum (Leslie)
The BFF Serum contains patented technology, NP-TriOX which is designed to defend and protect skin from daily stress including HEV light and pollution. It also contains another one of my favourite ingredients, hyaluronic acid which instantly plumps and smooths skin. This is a product which I find really helps when I have spent too much time on my phone or laptop.
Face Finish, Mattifying Balm
This is a clever balm for people on the go who need a quick product which will give both a flawless finish and blur fine lines and smooth pores in one sweep. The product works with transparent microspheres with give a soft-focus finish and skin-enhancing silicones which mattify and hide minor imperfections. I have combination skin and it works really well on oily areas.
BFF Eye, Serum Concealer (Reda)
The BFF eye is a cross between an eye serum and a concealer. It has powerful coverage which blends in nicely with the skin. I often find under-eye concealers highlight fine lines even more, however the BFF Eye blends into skin seamlessly. The peptide activators in the product help to reduce puffiness and redness and vitamin C helps to brighten up the delicate under-eye area.
Lip2Cheek (Veebee)
One of those products I have seen Trinny herself use on Instagram many times, the Lip2Cheek is a multitasking product which enlivens your entire complexion. The pigment is intense and lasts for quite a few hours with buildable colour that saves you from having to co-ordinate blush with lipstick. I particularly like that it has a matte texture rather than being greasy or absorbed into the skin too easily.
Eye2Eye (Emperor)
The Eye2Eye range are moisture-enriched cream based eye shadows and liners designed to make eyeshadow easy to apply. The pigment is rich and it is recommended to apply with your ring finger to achieve a natural or a smoky finish. I find that these shadows stay onto your lids throughout the course of the day. Emperor is a really great stunning rich chocolate brown shade which works whatever colour your skin tone.
Lip Glow (Mia, Bella)
One of my favourite products from the Trinny London collection, the Lip Glow is the brand’s next-generation lip gloss with a high shine formula. Its vitamin E formulation adds instant moisture and adds a buildable tint to your own lip colour. Each shade is named after Trinny’s daughter Lyla and her friends. My favourite colours from the range are Mia and Bella. Mia is a fresh cherry blossom pink and Bella is a universally wearable nude.
