Voted by Vogue as ‘the dress of the decade’, The Vampire’s Wife’s Falconetti dress is an absolute dream. Iridescent emerald green silk chiffon fabric that is cut with a mid-length silhouette and features semi-sheer sleeves with ruffled cuffs. This dress has been worn by the Duchess of Cambridge and Jennifer Aniston and has swiftly become an entrance making cult favourite.
When I first saw this dress I thought it was beautiful, however it was only after purchasing it that I really understood the hype. The material is innovative; it is incredibly reflective and with movement gives a really stunning effect - if you are looking for a showstopping dress, this is it! Its cut is feminine and edgy at the same time, I absolutely love the moderate shoulder pads, slim-fit bodice combined with the A-line skirt and ruffled hemline. The Falconetti dress is one of those pieces which you come across every so often, that makes you feel extra special whenever you wear it. I styled the dress with taupe Gianvito Rossi pumps and Laurence Coste earrings. My biggest problem now is stopping myself from buying this design in multiple colours…
